Locally, within a short walk there are a small selection of shops and restaurants along the promenade of the in-shore Dubai Marina. 'the dhow' is a fine dining venue and the only floating restaurant on the Jumeirah coastline, it is a traditional Arabic boat which is moored at the marina and is reached by a path through the hotels garden. This romantic setting has panoramic views of the surrounding bay and the hotels resort facilities. The 'Upper Deck' has a lounge bar where cocktails may be enjoyed while the charming 'Lower Deck' has tables overlooking the sea and serves an A la carte selection of seafood and sushi including lobster and platters.
