Emirates Airline International Festival of Literature (EAIFL)

If you enjoy telling stories, reciting poetry, making people laugh, reading solemnly, provoking thought, performing madly, inspiring ideas or simply making it up as you go along then the EAIFL Fringe is the opportunity for you to display your talents, hidden or otherwise!

The only prerequisite is talent, enthusiasm, energy, patience, determination and good humour and the rest will fall into place. Being a prize winning poet or an acclaimed author will help, or even an out of work actor,  but not being any of these will not prevent you revealing your own  talents or those of your group, troupe, or in whatever combination you want to present.

We plan a host of events packed with entertainment, information and provocation to delight audiences. Imagine listening to the sounds of whispering poetry whilst sitting under a starry night sky along the creek side at Dubai Festival City. Or perhaps watching a revue amongst the palms, or a theatrical performance on the floating stage, or attending a creative writing master class based on the storytelling culture of the Arabian Gulf – these are all things we plan for the Fringe with your help and participation.

Take this opportunity to demonstrate your talent and the talent we have in Dubai, the UAE and the Gulf and share them with everyone over 3 days with packed audiences. Large numbers of people hungry for such entertainment will support you, listen to you, applaud you, heckle you, ridicule you, love you, hate you, laugh with you and cry with you.
